Second Aeolus Overpass measurements with EVE in Cape Verde

Jul 10, 2021

Vertical aerosol profiles from eVe where successfully captured during the second AEOLUS overpass over Mindelo, Cape Verde on 09/07/21.
The boundary layer is visible below 1km. The lidar data indicate a marine sea salt dominant aerosol component.
An isolated dust layer from 1.5km extending up to 6.5km is also present.
The atmospheric conditions seem similar to last Friday's overpass where a marine boundary layer and an isolated dust layer where detected.
