The USRL fleet comprises medium and small-sized fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircrafts (helicopters and multi copters) equipped with avionics to enable them as Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

During flight, a UAS is remotely controlled by a pilot at a ground control station, or can fly autonomously based on pre-programmed flight paths, or can even fly by using more complex dynamic automation systems.

The iSoar is an electric fixed wing aircraft with large compartments for sensors and equipment and long flight endurance.
